Merrill for Mayor

Hi, thank you for stopping by! My name is Luke Merrill. I'm a lifelong resident of Isanti. I was elected to City Council in 2022, where I served 2 years. During those two years, we were able to cut taxes over 17%. Our mayor seat opened up (due to Mayor Jimmy Gordon being elected to the House of Representatives) in 2024. With the mayor seat opening, council decided that I was the best choice to man-the-ship until a special election could be completed. I'm honored to serve currently as the Interim Mayor of Isanti. I'm also excited to announce my candidacy, through the special election, to retain the Mayor Seat through 2026.

Together, we can ensure that Isanti continues to thrive and remains a place we're all proud to call home. I stand for Common Sense, Taxpayer Focused Leadership. The primary is April 8th (3 candidates get narrowed down to 2). The Final Election is then August 12th.
